I had the unfortunate experience of a couples session with Jennifer Russo (she calls herself a "Dr" but she does not have those credentials). Above all the woman is a fraud.

From the moment we began I realized that it was not a therapy session and impartiality was out the window. Instead she chose to interrogate me, and call me a liar more times than I can count within the first 5 minutes. Jennifer also gave me medical advice that she is in no way qualified to provide. This advice, or rather her opinion went completely counter to the direction provided by the qualified medical professionals treating me.

She claims to be a family and addiction specialist, but it's clear that Jennifer holds a grudge against addicts, and thus uses therapy sessions as a means to practice her activist opinion.

The worst part about it all, is that my wife (now my ex-wife) and I sought assistance and support from Jennifer, but instead due to her aggressive, angry, punishment-fueled approach, she riled up my wife, and encouraged her to place the issues we sought to address under a microscope. This had an incredibly negative impact, and setback our relationship significantly.

I am just one person with my own opinion and a horrible experience. But, based on it, I urge anyone reading this review to look elsewhere to find a real therapist, providing real therapy.
