This is a nice place to come with a large group of people. But I had such a bad experience with the food I ordered. I got Arrachera and the steak was so chewy that I had to wrap it in a napkin cause I was almost gagging …. I ordered a medium well but it was definitely fully well done.
Our server was kind and attentive and I liked the sides but when you order a steak you kinda want a good meat ‍♀️ I probably won’t be back. They can do better.

Location and atmosphere is nice. The customer service was good and friendly.
The food was kind of bland, ordered the Stake Ranchero. Look's like they use the same meat for Tacos de Carne Asada. Meat was over cooked had no flavor at all. The Beans, same, had no flavor. The prices are higher compared to others with similar menu and portions.

It’s a nice little restaurant. The shrimp tacos were salty and over priced. The white rice lacked flavor. And the charro beans were mediocre.

I do however loved the green salsa and red.

Would I pay again 18 for these meh tacos? Probably not.

Waited 10 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us. People were turning back and leaving since no one was coming.
Food was only 35 minutes late to arrive. Refills took about 20 minutes once requested.
Food was good. Sauces were excellent. Too bad we could never get a refill of tostadas. They never came.

1st time at LA Coa and I will return. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed the service, ambiance, and our breakfast. I missed taking a picture with the sparklers when they brought out the churro wagon. You'll see a pic when it fizzled out. I was too slow in picture taking.
I surveyed our table and everyone gives it a 5 in all areas. No complaints.

This is the third time I've been here, and it is such a good time every time I've been here. The prices are a little pricey ($8 for a small slice of cheesecake is a little much, but it is delicious), but the food is delicious. Breakfast is served all day, and there are deals for Monday-Thursday. The coffee is good (free refills!), and the decorations are cute. Friendly atmosphere and staff. And the churro stand is such a cool touch.

Great place for Mexican food! They have plenty of parking, seating, a covered patio, clean restrooms, live music on Fridays, and a bar has tv’s. The bar also had liquor, beer with both bottle & draft, wine & cocktails. Oh and the staff is extremely friendly & bilingual.

The food here is delicious, along with the green and read salsa. Portions are large and you definitely get your moneys worth. I’m a repeat customer and so far I’ve had the Menudo with a side pata which is epic! I’ve also had the gorditas, tacos, chilaquiles, steak arrachera, enchiladas and the Tampiquena steak, huevos rancheros, chicken soup, The Arrachera steak is excellent and flavored perfectly. All the other items I mentioned are fantastic and will definitely keep you coming back for more.

They also have daily lunch specials, options for the month of lent, live music on Fridays, the staff is attentive, and you can make reservations for large parties. Also don’t worry about parking there’s plenty, the restaurant is handicapped accessible for wheelchairs etc. And there’s lighting at night time.

Lastly this Restaraunt is in a great location for before or after entertainment. You’re literally 5 minutes away from Downtown, the El Paso chihuahuas & locomotives, the Plaza, Abraham Chavez, 3 minutes from the hospitals, 2 minutes from UTEP, the Sun Bowl, and Don Haskins, & days of tailgating. You’re also right by the Alamo movie theater, Hope and Anchor, Hoppy Monk, the district, angry owl, Cincinnati, and other entertainment areas. Definitely check La Coa out!

Excellent service and food win win! The Restaraunt is very nice, very clean, they have a patio and it looks exciting and modern. They just opened recently but the staff greets you quickly and is very friendly. There is a full bar with TV’s, and alcoholic beverages, bottled and draft beer, along with sodas, & delicious cocktails.

They have live music and there is plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. There are tables with chairs, as well as booths, and the restrooms are nice, and clean.

The food here is excellent and comes out quickly. Literally it tastes like they have an old Mexican Grandmother cooking in the back with her all her delicious Mexican recipes. I’ve been here 3 times already. The steak arrechera is amazing, the Menudo with extra pata is mouth watering, the Mexican omelette is the bomb, and the chicken plate is cooked perfectly and served with a side of deliciousness!

We also had some cocktails and they did not disappoint. They make just about everything here, and they also have some of their own concoctions. The restaurant is not to loud, and the environment is very fun, and friendly.

I highly recommend this new addition on the Westside. As I mentioned I’ve been there 3 times already, and I can’t wait to go back. They have a ton of parking in the rear, and it is well lit in the evenings, and night. Definitely a must try, love that that have live music and tastes authentic!
