I have just completed my 8th IRATA Level 3 with Stephen and the Altius Team. The standard of instruction was first class.

Stephen has course delivery down to a fine art. His ability to tailor the course to the needs of the individual is exceptional. He is patient, engaging and has an obvious passion for what he does.

The center has an ample supply of rescue dummy’s and a scissor lift to make the positioning for advanced rescues a breeze.

This maximizes the amount of practice time on the exercise itself and doesn’t require a training candidate to fulfill this role.

This makes for a more rewarding and worthwhile training experience. I cannot recommend Altius highly enough.

I would recommend this company for anyone looking to get rope access trained- Steve was a great help and very knowledgeable in getting my SPRAT level 2. He took the time to show me every rescue needed to pass my test. Compared to other companies Altius will let you came back at no charge if you fail which made me decide to use their training facility verses other companies. Definitely will be back once I get hours for a level 3.
