We absolutely love Children of America in Bowie! Our daughter is excited every day to join her friends for a mix of fun and educational activities. We appreciate the daily updates, including curriculum planning, photos, and videos showcasing her participation in the planned activities.

Ms. Amber is exceptional—she takes the time to connect with each child, offering structure, guidance, and warmth.

We are so pleased with our decision to enroll our daughter at COA. Ms. Des, the center director, is doing an incredible job, and we’re grateful to be part of the COA family.

We’ve had an amazing experience at Children of America Bowie over the past two years! My son has truly thrived here, learning his alphabet, numbers, and social skills through engaging interactions with other kids. I love how his imagination has blossomed during his time at the daycare—it’s been such a joy to see him grow in creativity and confidence.

A very special shoutout to Ms. Jenny, who kickstarted his potty training journey and supported us every step of the way—your patience and encouragement were invaluable. I'm not sure how she is able to do all the things from creating activities for all the kids, engaging with them, giving each child personalized attention, but most importantly sending all the updates from videos to pictures, I feel like I didn’t miss a single moment of my child’s day! Even though he is no longer in her class we truly appreciate her still loving on him from afar!

Huge thanks also to Ms Amber, Ms. Arleen, Ms Mary, and all the wonderful teacher assistants who constantly pour love, care, and dedication into his growth and development. The staff here genuinely care about the children and create a nurturing, educational environment that sets them up for success. It doesn’t go unnoticed and we are truly grateful for them all.

We are very pleased with COA Bowie and the care given to our infant. She has been well taken care of by the staff in the infant classroom especially Ms. Tilaya. Ms. Des has been very attentive to our needs since day one and put us at ease. The facility is beautifully maintained, decorated and clean. We appreciate the building’s security and the ability to check on our baby via the cameras. Would highly recommend this daycare.

It’s hard finding good childcare providers for our precious littles. Our daughters just started going to COA in Bowie last month. The director Ms Des is great, I feel assurance knowing that when I drop my babies off they are in good hands. Ms Tilaya is amazing, my 6 mo old smiles every-time she sees her. My 2 year old loves playing outside at the playground and is learning so much. I also love the photos that are sent and the daily digest of what the kids participate in each day, it makes me feel like I was a part of their day even being away from them.

we love COA bowie! my son started in the infants class a few months ago and he has been doing so well and has learned so much in the short time he's been with COA! Ms. Des is great along with all the teachers like Ms. Tilaya and all the assistants as well!! I wish i knew all of their names but i see and appreciate how wonderful they all are to my son.

they have cameras in the classroom so i can see him while he's there and they also send updates/pics and a report at the end of the day. every time i leave him, i'm at ease knowing he's in great hands!

We’ve been with COA since 2020 and we love it! Our oldest has learned so much - math, science, language skills, socialization, and so much more! When we had our youngest, there was no question that we would be enrolling him as well. We’ve been here a long time and really do love the teachers and staff. Miss Tilaya, Miss Mary, and Mr Foday are our children’s current teachers and they are so patient and kind. We also loved our time with Miss Shaquan, Miss Arlene, and all the other teachers! Miss Des is also a great director for the school and she always has answers or knows who to contact if I have questions.

I like this school/daycare for my son. It seems like he enjoys going. Shoutout to Ms. Shay, Ms. Arlene, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Tanaya, Ms. Amber, Ms. Dana for caring for my son day in and day out. The cameras are a huge plus, especially for someone who struggles with anxiety and wanted to just check in on my son from time to time. We have been going for a year and I can see the difference. I was a little concerned about whether he was talking or not because he wouldn’t speak at home, I expressed my concerns, Ms. Tanaya worked with him, and he started coming home talking and saying a lot more words than he was to begin with. Thank you for your time to work with him. I will say that communication could be a bit better. Other than that, pretty good. Ms. Des loves the children and they love her back.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Children of America in Bowie! Our son, Dylan, absolutely thrives in this nurturing and well-structured environment. Ms. Dessarie, the center’s director, is truly remarkable. She runs the school with precision and care, ensuring everything is always in tip-top shape. Her firm yet fair approach is so refreshing and fosters an environment of mutual respect among staff, students, and parents. You can feel her passion and genuine care for the children and their families in everything she does. She’s the heart of this school, and her dedication is unmatched.

Ms. Amber, Dylan’s teacher, is equally phenomenal. She is sweet, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful in addressing the individual learning needs of her students. Her warmth and patience create such a safe and encouraging space for Dylan to grow and explore. He looks forward to school every day, and we see so much progress in his development, thanks to her personalized approach.

This preschool is a shining example of what every early learning center should aspire to be. From the excellent leadership to the compassionate teaching, Children of America in Bowie truly sets the bar high. We are so grateful to have Dylan in such capable and caring hands.
