If you are overweight, don’t waste your time. I waited 8 months to see this doctor. I have been sick for almost 2 years and seen tons of doctors. I was so desperate for him to listen to me, I spent 2 hours organizing what was going on, my symptoms, what things had worked in at least a small part, and what had not worked into a printed, bulleted paper. He took the paper but never looked at it. He said he wanted to hear from me. I thought he was listening to me, at least. Then he spent about 5 minutes having me do different things. He then told me he didn’t think I have a neurological issue. He said that movement disorders didn’t come with pain. Then he said three different things that made it clear he had not listened to me. He even tried to tell me one of my concerns was just zoning out caused my ADHD. He had missed the fact that I taught Special Needs for 15 years. Not only do I have ADHD but I had taught over 50 students with ADHD. Zoning out is as far as away from what I was talking about as grape juice is from wine. Of course, he tried to blame it on my weight. Yes, I am very fat. I have been trying to lose weight since I first started gaining weight. Of course, it doesn’t matter that a major factor in my weight gain was a medicine I was on for a long time or that doctors never told me that it was making me gain weight. When I went to leave, he actually said he was just my first stop. That was like a slap in the face. I had told him how many doctors I had seen and how long I had been sick. I managed to make it to my car before I started bawling. I am done seeing doctors. Not only do they not help, they make me feel depressed and hopeless. Like this doctor they don’t listen and go straight to my weight. I am doing my best to lose weight and don’t intend to give up. I have done a good bit research on reliable websites, the same ones doctors use. I believe I have parkinsonism, caused by a medication I was on for a long time and should never have been on. This could also been caused two other things in my history. Both of those things were on the paper. It causes pain. Yeah I know I am not supposed self diagnose. Doctors, like this one, have not only failed me but they caused this by not listening to me. Using my research I have found a few vitamins and exercises that give me a small amount of relief. I am just hoping in time the neurotransmitters in my body will balance again. There is no benefit to seeing doctors until I am able to lose weight. Maybe then doctors like this will listen.

Fantastic! I can't say enough good things He is knowledgeable, patient, thorough and compassionate.
He doesn't push you to make decisions (like medications) until you are comfortable which I appreciate.
